Four Towns and Vale Link Community Transport is looking for friendly, reliable people to join our team and help support local residents and school transport services. We currently have two vacancies.

Full-time minibus driver

Driving our community minibuses on school runs, Ring & Ride journeys and group trips across South Gloucestershire.

  • £13 per hour
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday
  • South Gloucestershire

Requirements

  • Must have D1 entitlement on your driving licence
  • Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check
  • Willing to gain MiDAS Accessible Driver training
  • Good communication skills and a caring attitude

What you'll be doing

  • Morning and afternoon school runs
  • Ring & Ride service — collecting passengers from home and taking them to doctors, hospital appointments and local shops
  • Supporting older and vulnerable residents with essential travel
  • Occasional short day trips for community groups

Passenger Assistant — part-time, term-time only

We are recruiting caring, reliable and safety-focused Passenger Assistants to support the transport of children with special educational needs on our school minibuses. This rewarding role is ideal for anyone seeking structured, part-time work during school term times.

  • £12.71 per hour
  • Mornings 07:00–09:00
  • Afternoons 14:30–16:30
  • 1–5 days per week or casual
  • BS34 6QD

Key responsibilities

  • Escorting children with special needs safely to and from school
  • Ensuring each child's safe arrival at school and safe return home to a responsible adult
  • Providing reassurance, supervision and support throughout the journey
  • Working collaboratively with the driver to maintain a calm and safe travel environment

Requirements

  • Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS check (support provided)
  • Reliable, punctual and able to commit to morning and afternoon shifts
  • Patient, calm and confident when supporting children with additional needs
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a small transport team
